She Beasts CIC Creating Social Impact

25% Of fees are reinvested to support women suffering from domestic and substance misuse and other trauma…

Providing a safe environment for all females to experience a complete lifestyle change, by harnessing the power within them and connecting them with employment opportunities and providing active workshops for young females.

She Beasts workshops have been a good form of motivation for WAITS clients. It has helped them socialise and get to know each other building friendships and nice relationships. It makes them happy to be out of their routine and do something that benefits them not only mentally but also physically.

I understand the impact of DV and the generational trauma that follows personally and in my work professionally, which is why She Beasts CIC intrigued me. I came to know She Beasts CIC through social media and I was struck by the concept of supporting women who had experienced DV through fitness and mentoring. Research shows the power of exercise in supporting mental health and well-being but this is more…

it is also a growing community for women. I also noted how the driving force was Sadie, but noted the difference was that she didn’t focus the work of She Beasts CIC around herself in social media posts saying how great she is etc (and she could because she is She Beasts CIC all about the women. It’s giving them opportunities to lead, to grow, showing them their worth and value, supporting employment, and educating them and the wider audience, this was inspiring. They say you should only look down on people if you are offering a hand to pull them up, Sadie and She Beasts CIC do this.” – Claire

Terri – She Beasts Apprentice Initially introduced in February 2021 referred from the Birmingham & Solihull Women’s Aid (BSWA) ” It was the concept of She Beasts that really drew my attention to the idea of empowering all females and especially the impact element” Terri has been on a journey of transformation, physically, mentally & financially.

Experiencing verbal, emotional and mental abuse among other elements… After a visit to her GP resulted in her being told if things did not change at home then she would risk her daughter’s well-being and social services would be involved. At this point, Terri was referred to organisations that could support her through this crucial time in her life IRIS & Women’s Aid. The end of the relationship did not mean the end of the abuse as the gruelling process of family court was to come…

Terri began to turn a corner by investing in herself going through counselling, volunteering for Women’s Aid, and giving back to the organisations that supported her through this period. “The whole process can seem quite unbelievable but it is as of March 2023 I will have been a She Beasts employee for 18 months. My educational qualifications provided by She Beasts will be completed by January 2024. People may feel as though they aren’t worthy when they truly are. Sometimes we just need some help and support to realise our true potential. Opportunities like this don’t just happen, being a positive example to my daughter is paramount and this opportunity provides a good and stable life for my daughter and myself independently which is something that is most important to me.” – Terri

“There are always charitable causes to support, but why did She Beasts CIC stand out as a group to support? I have grown up in a family where most women have experienced domestic violence in all of its forms. I remember as a child visiting my aunt and my cousins living in a refuge with no belongings, just the clothes on their backs…
